So this cold has gotten worse , I coughed up blood this morning and there's blood in my mucus, I think it's maybe because my throats hurts so much and maybe it's been irritated but idk.

Anytime you cough up blood you want to get checked just to be on the safe side

You may have a bad sinus infection. That happened to my husband when he got one.
