Mine gets really quiet and cranky. Kinda seems like he disconnects himself from reality sometimes.

My husband has been really different since he's gone back to work. And maybe I'm looking into it to much.

It just depends, more of the time I know some thing is stressing him out when he distances himself. Which he does because he will take it out on me unintentionally.
