So I will have to go through this baby’s birth by myself. I’m so scared. I don’t want to be alone while having surgery.

Get to know your nurses

@michellelee1510, I know all the labor and delivery nurses and some of the nurses go to my church. We live in a small town so everyone is friendly at our hospital

Csections are amazing and luckily very quick. You will be perfectly fine. I am preparing myself for a possibility of being alone too, my husband and I don’t have support so he will have to be with our toddler if our friend isn’t able to get off work.

@juliam27, then you know what to expect. You’ll be fine! Once the baby is out who gives a shit who’s around?! Just enjoy your special moment

@juliam27, it’s a very quick process also, it won’t take that much longer, everything will already be open. The spinal lasts an hour, they will have it done in that time frame. Don’t psych yourself out. Focus on meeting your baby and think positive.

It's not too bad girl. Just keep your mind focused on the final gift at the end. I had my last 2 babies alone, you might even like the peace and quiet.

@mommyof3kiddos, I had an emergency c-section and that was the scariest and now I have to have a scheduled c-section if my placenta previa doesn’t correct itself. So I’m just really scared.

@juliam27 have faith everything will turn out fine. Don't stress yourself. Scheduled c sections are way less stressful and scary than the emergency c sections.

@mommyof3kiddos, I’m glad I decided to go with a c-section in the first place at my first drs visit. I think I’d be safe and better in stead of a vbac especially with what’s going on now.
