Trying to get my 15 month off the pacifier, but I'm losing this battle. Any advice?

My advice would be to just cut it off cold turkey and never look back. We took the Paci away from our daughter when she was a little after one. She was too dependent on it. But we just had to let her cry it out. A month later she forgot about it and haven't asked for it since. We were cleaning out our kitchen cabinets a little while ago and she found one, picked it up, and just threw it down

@myblessings, mommy has to get tougher with that. I took t for two days she cried at first but then was fine but the third day she lost it. She's fine during the day but once it's time to take a nap it go to sleep for he night she screams. I'm going to try again today. Thanks

We started taking it away, and he would only get it at bed time. Then after a few weeks, he would just go to sleep without it. We tried just taking it away altogether, but he would just take his sisters pacifier.

@mandapanda2, lol she hid an extra one in the pants of her sister baby doll and we were wondering why she kept carrying it around.
