I’m just finishing up my 28 weeks being pregnant. Have any of you ladies feel, pain like a shock sort of feeling.. or tightness in the belly? I’m starting to get paranoid I go into early labor. People say I’ll know. I need to know I’m not the only one who feels this. Put my mind at ease.

I felt that way but trust me you WILL know. I was so paranoid that I wouldn’t know but as soon as I hit active labor and was actually progressing and contracting regularly I KNEW I was like “this is it. This is what people were talking about there is no mistaking this” I knew for a fact I was but I had a back labor so all my contractions were in my lower back and legs and I had gone to labor and delivery 3 days in a row. One for numb belly button(I was contracting regularly by then but I couldn’t feel them, Day 2 my back was hurting a bit and it wouldn’t stop but it wasn’t bad and day 3 same thing my back was hurting and it wouldn’t go away and I was contracting regularly but couldn’t really feel them. They made me walk for 2 hours straight and by the time I was done the pain just instantly came on but not so bad, I went home it got worse but I waited ALL night because my nurse told me it’s not what you think until your belly hurts.... that bitch was WRONG I was in full on labor ALLLLLL night and I KNEW but I trusted the dr..my point in all this was I knew I was in labor it’s definitely not hard to mistake at all and yes you WILL know when you’re in labor. Also do not be afraid to go in if something feels different the worst thing they will do is send you home they told me “the only way to know for sure is if you come in so don’t be afraid to that’s what we are here for to help you and check you”

@noahs.mommy, yeah I also have really bad constipation. But this whole time feeling hardness on one side of my stomach at times I thought it was her. But it’s not? Just uterus moving against organs? Is that true?

@noahs.mommy, probably her butt then lol. Do they tend to stay on one side once they are head down or no?

@stokesbary15, yeah Noah favored my right side and always had his butt there. He would move to the other side occasionally if I was laying on my left side but for the most part he stayed on my right. She’s just running out of all the room she has to move around completely free and is just staying there flipping around rather than rolling across you
