My 9 month old still needs to be rocked to sleep every time what can I do to make him fall asleep on…

My son also, my Husband can put him to sleep by just laying him down and gently patting his back and everytime I try he throws a fit til I rock him

I’d say, rock him. They are only baby’s for a short time. Take it while you still can. I rocked my youngest till she was 18 months ago 🤷🏼‍♀️

@girlmom., that is true I feel I’ll miss it when he doesn’t need it anymore it just hurts my back bc I’m so small I’m only 87 pounds lol

For my son I lay him in his playpen with pacifier until he spits it out , turn on lullaby music and tap him for a few minutes . From there if he’s still not sleep then I allow him to put himself to sleep and it usually works within 20-30 mins .
