I've had about 4 spinal epidurals in my life. I also wrecked a car and twisted my back, injuring nerves and forever dealing with scoliosis on top of it. Back pain? This house is spotless. But then again I can handle pain. Some people can't. I have a pretty high tolerance.

For example -- when I wrecked my car almost 10 years ago, I broke my legs and right ankle. I was in double leg casts and a wheelchair for a couple of months before progressing to a walker and then crutches. I remember pushing my wheelchair through the house to get laundry out of the dryer and sweeping the floors. It can be done and I did it. But there are those without the "work ethic" I was brought up with. Suck it up buttercup. I was told that my whole childhood. Life is hard.

I was up and cleaning three days after my c-section, also suffered from PPD.

Mom life doesn’t consist of not being able to maintain basic home duties or take a shower or clean up a pile of dirty diapers or to run the damn dishwasher. You do what you have to do, baby wearing saves lives, so does a swing or a bouncer. You shouldn’t ignore your life and house when you have kids. But hey, that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.

However I just got back home from the grocery store and the whole house is a disaster -- mattresses flipped over and all the stuffed animals in the animal nets are out. Currently considering burning the house down and starting over. 🤔
