Don't give up & don't let them push you to bottle feed if you really want to breastfeed

@breederofboyz I just feel bad.. Hes pooped 3 times yet will not eat... My parents said hell get sick if I don't try harder.. Ugh

No he won't ! I promise ! I went through the same thing. Ask for a lactaction nurse . I had one coming to help me until he finally decided to nurse on day 3

Try switching positions . have you tried the football hold?

Babies sense our stress too! I had trouble breastfeeding for a whole month!! The first week was hardest. Keep calm and be patient and I know it’s hard to be patient when the baby is crying and you’re a first time mom and we freak out but i promise it’s one of those things where we have to just try and try.

One thing a nurse told me that helped me was to go to a calm relaxing place in my mind and just imagine to myself a waterfall of milk just pouring through my breast and just think peacefully and then to try and breastfeed and although a few times baby would not latch I was surprised most of the time she did! I was frustrated because sometimes Lia would latch and other times she wouldn’t. But I didn’t give up! Kept it pushing
