Okay mommas. Baby girl tested positive for RSV Wednesday. She’s not had a fever since that morning and for the most part she’s ate good and got plenty of fluid she doesn’t really even act sick other than the fussing and just looking tired but today she’s developed the cough. I’ve been doing her breathing treatments and I have a vaporizer going and I’m auctioning her nose like I was told but her cough sounds horrible. It’s not like a consistent cough or makes her gag or nothing like that but you can hear the congestion when she does it and it’s terrifying me. I was hoping since I caught it so early and she was doing so good that the cough wouldn’t even happen she’d just be better but I hate the cough and her nose just keeps getting more runny but it’s never actually “stopped up” and she breathes fine. Should I be panicking yet? Or is it just basically normal for kids to get the congested cough with RSV
