Ugh. I'm so sorry...I feel ur pain. I just had to put one in our explorer. 1500 and that was a used engine price and a deal on installation at a small time mechanic in the country smh...everybody else wanted double

@newlywedmama21, that sucks!!! My boyfriends car is a 2012 Kia Optima. He drove it a lot so it has 120,000 miles but still....didn’t think we would have this kind of problem. I at least have my car but he works 45 min away and I need to get to my doctors appointments😩

@newlywedmama21, omg!! We just got SO lucky! We just found out his car has a major recall on the engine. Apparently Kia and Hyundai are recalling 1.7 million cars! We never got a letter about it. Looks like they have to replace it! What a relief!
