@marissawilliams628 @kiri.k.t8 it's not fun is it. My eyes are burning but on the plus side I'll sleep like a baby when I do eventually get home. Xx

Only problem being that its no good for the babies sleep wake routine xx@clarelushx

Am going to ask my midwife to write me a letter so when am like 25 weeks pregnant I can’t do night shift anymore we’re not actually meant to be doing them where I work but we have 4 pregnant lady’s even though one ion mat n ones about to go on mat so they cannot afford using agency so we have work nights now it’s abit unfair tbh xx

@marissawilliams628 my midwife was trying to get me to get a sick note of my doctor. Not only because of it being nights but because my job is very physical too (lifting, constantly on the go). But the worry she had was that my job may be able to class it as early mat leave which I really don't want. I do know however that if your job is having a negative impact on your body during pregnancy they have to provide you with a solution whether it be moving you to days or changing your role. I also read somewhere that if they move you to days and your contracted for night rate, you get night rate regardless of what time you work. Which is also pretty handy. But yeah get your midwife to explain what you can do about it. She'll know it all inside out xx
