My midwife asked me about my thoughts on where I'm giving birth. Hadn't thought about it at all up until then. The birthing suites look and sound amazing! Nice relaxed room, music, en-suite, pool in room, any amount of guests. But the no epidural or medication part seems scary. 🤔

Everyone is different hun, I was induced and only had gas&air until I had to go to theatre xx

@courtniek98x I just don't know how I'm going to cope with it until I'm in that situation. I can't judge it at all. I liked the idea of trying to go natural with the epidural being there at the side if I ever felt I needed it but after looking at these birth suites... I'd kinda like one of them too but they have a "no going back" kinda feel around them 😣 I suppose I'll get more insight about it all when I get to look around the hospital and centre xx

I mean I've gave birth twice now all natural, and once was in a birthing pool too. To me it's all mind over matter. If you can keep your calm and your breathing under control you can do it 🤘

See how you go no one can prepare you for birth. Put down the water birth but it’s not set in stone if you need extra they can give it, just out the pool
