Does anyone ever feel like their SO never wants to spend time with them anymore. I mean my daughter is 2 and we have been together for almost 3 yrs an have been engaged for going on 2 yrs. And wd still have not set a date. I mean I been trying to get him set a date. But all he ever says is we will just not now or I don't know. It's like it does not matter to him. I feel unloved and wanted. When others want him to hang out he will but me I get put on the back burner. And that is not fair to me. Yes he spends time with our Lo .(little one) and that ia all that should matter. But don't I deserve to have him spend time with me to.

He may not be ready just yet for several different reasons. Not ready for committment, not financially stabled, he may be stressing from work, he may be comfortable of where he is at right now without marriage or he may want to improve other areas of your relationship etc. Reguardless of what ever reason, a man that is truly ready wont hesitate to take the next step closer to marriage. But it would help if he communicates that with you about how he truly feels about marriage. As for his lack of affection lately, get to the bottom of it. Let him know how you feel and how you guys can spend some real QT together maybe dates on the weekends if week is so busy with work.
I am in the exact same situation as you. We have a 2 year old daughter and together for 3 years. I was also ready for marriage at first but he wasnt because we are not financially stabled. I understand even though it was hard to accept at first because im pushing 30 and well he is 4 years behind me so yah lol But i realized afterwards that I actually want the samething along with improving other areas in our relationship first. Plus Its better to be on the same page going into marriage than getting married with unresolved issues. Aside from being a good father, Its not easy but gotta keep pushing through. Hope this helps and hope its gets better for you two.
