So I finally told my job that I’m pregnant now that I’ve reached my second trimester, and my boss said she wants a note every month saying I can still work or I will be terminated, I feel like she is making my pregnancy into an illness and I feel extreme discriminated, Also I have asked others who are pregnant and who have been pregnant there and no one else has been told they need to do this, I’ve worked through all my pregnancies and never had a job tell me I need a note to keep working because I am pregnant, I feel like they pick and chose who they want to pick on , does this sound normal to anyone has anyone else experienced something like this I honestly am ready to contact a lawyer I 100% feel like it’s discrimination what do y’all think ?

Thanks luv I appreciate your advice !

Okay they definitely can't do that. It's 100% discrimination and if she knew her shit she would know not to ask you to do that. Honestly, have proof that she's making you do this either through a text message or something because I guarantee you she's looking for a reason to get rid of you as soon as you start calling out for pregnancy reasons you are out the door. I say let them fire you collect unemployment and sue them for discrimination.. im pissed.lol

Just read your previous comments. I think you should definitely call your state and/or lawyer up

Ask for a copy of the policy since they claim it's their policy

@lnkedupmommy, I did ask her and she said it was there policy, but no one else has had to do this as well as she can not make that call if my doctor wanted me out of work she would give me a note I don’t feel like I should have to provide a new note every month
