I am worried about my 10 month old he doesn’t quite know how to eat solids. When I feed it to him he tries to eat it but he ends up spitting it out and when I give him finger food. He has trouble grabbing it and putting it in his mouth. It ends up all over him, the chair and the floor.
Is this normal? Does your kids do this? Is this a Delay?

Most 10 month Olds are messy eaters. It just takes practice. My 16 month old makes a mess while eating.

@mississippi.mama, I remember my first born eating everything I’ll put in-font of him with no problems and little to no mess. What worryings me about my youngest son is that he is not eating anything

@mommyoftwoangels Every baby is different. My second is slower at reaching milestones than my first. As long as he's drinking either breast milk or formula as usual he should be fine.

Omg my baby is 10 months and she would not eat any table food ! Like if I give her tiny pieces in her mouth she start to choke and if I try to give her big pieces that she can hold she won’t hold them at all 🤦🏽♀️

If baby doesn't feel okay swallowing solids that's fine. Lily would do the same. Start with pureed foods. Lily was at least a year old before she even tolerated more solid foods.
