We have two girls. We also have my husband's two brothers as foster kids. I want to try one last time for a boy. But i am so scared what our family will say. I can hear it now "Five kids have you lost your mind?!". But this was the plan before his brothers were placed with us.... why should my dream of having (possibly) my own son be ruined because their drugged out mama can't take care of them?!?

Don't let them phase you!!! Do want you want!! I'm in the same boat. I have a child from before my husband and he has two from before me....so we had 3 when we got together. We just had our first child together a year ago and ppl thought we were crazy then....now that I'm about to have another (#5) they think I've lost my mind but guess what it's our life and not theirs!! Just because we had kids before doesn't me we shouldn't be able to have kids as a married couple. Like you said, just because dummies didn't step up to the plate doesn't mean we shouldn't have what we want
