Woke up, went on Facebook and learned about a death of one of my Facebook friends, an older woman which I don’t think I knew, but we did have friends in common and live in the same area, and I just started balling my eyes out. I know life is limited and I just want to thank God for waking each and every one of my family members up, and I really hope her family can find the strength to move on in life and to remember her as the person she was, not that she’s no longer here. ♥️

The other day was the birthday of a close friend that passed away three years ago. We used to hang out everyday six years ago, shared a room and a bed (always platonically), made a lot of good memories. He moved away to Florida about a year or so after that, met a girl, and had a baby, they were so happy. And then they got into a wreck and he wasn't wearing a seatbelt and passed away almost instantly in Dec 2014. His family survived. It was shocking to everyone. Worst was that it was his mother's birthday. His daughter was only about a month and half old. I was in denial. Then mad. I'm still mad but I mostly just really miss him. He was like a little brother to me. You really do have to make an effort to appreciate everyday with the people you love because life really is so precious.

@leroydoom, That is just so heart breaking. Life can be taken away in an instant, that’s the scary part about life, it’s unpredictable. I agree with you, it’s important to appreciate the everyday people in your life, even just an I love you everyday whether you’re on good terms or bad terms. Because you never know when your last day on earth will be.
