So I've had Mirena (IUD) for almost a year now , I go for my next check up in May I think, anyone else have Mirena and still have weird periods?
like you can go a month or two if not more with out having a period and then you bleed/spot for a good 3 weeks? I know you have off cycles with Mirena but wasn't sure if this long progression of having a period/not having period was normal?

It took over a year to get a more consistent period kept it for three years

I was like that with the implanon the one that goes in your arm... didn't go away until I took it out then my cycle ran 33 days after being a constant 28 days before I got the implanon

It didn't mess with my cycles I had irregular periods for as long as I can remember but it messed with my moods so after 2 years everyone begged me to get it out and I did

@toshagager, yeah the only side effects I'm having with Mirena is Nausea and more moody. Like it feels like I'm pregnant again moods when I'm not. Lol

@tess_marie21 I know that feeling I went through that a lot when I had it it drove me nuts
