Why is it possible to be stuck at 3cm 😩 (haven’t been checked since so don’t know if I’ve changed…

I was stuck at 3 cm for up until I got a epidural.... so frustrating!

@kristinajohnson6, i don’t plan on getting that lol! But yeah I’ll be upset if i go over due..

@walkers-mom, I wasn’t planning on it either. I was 3cm at my doctors appointment. Then my water broke and was in active labor for over 14hr and nothing was happening. They said epidural or c-section.. 😞

@kristinajohnson6, man that sucks! I’d be pissed . Did they try like pitocin and stuff ?

@walkers-mom, Yes I was on pitocin... my contractions were 30 seconds apart and very intense!! They told me my body wouldn’t relax enough to dilate anymore and I felt like I HAD TO push!! I wasn’t happy but within 40 minutes of getting the epidural my little man was born!

@kristinajohnson6, oh man that’s crazy! Usually they say that the epidural can slow down your contractions ! But glad it went fast for you after you got it

@mommy.to.sterling, my hospital sent me home last Monday 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ cause i wasn’t progressing . Hoping he’ll come soon. My dr refuses to check me for dilation till 39 weeks so that’s next week

I was stuck at one and they tried everything then they decided to check on the baby and found out he flipped sunny side up and I had to have an emergency c section it was horrible I am hoping to push this time

@walkers-mom, I’ve heard it slows it down too but I think that’s only if you do it too early!
