Have any moms on here drank red wine while pregnant? Not going too drink it. just heard my cousin…

they say you can have a glass every now and then, i had a small glass for my birthday i was like 3 months pregnant and also on 4th of july i was 7months pregnant .🤭

@boymamachronicles, that’s what they told me. My sister wants me to go to the winery with her soon and she said I can have a glass of red wine.

@juliam27, yeah i just had a little bit. maybe 5 oz both times lol. there was a few pregnant moms on here that celebrated new years with a tiny bottle of champagne

Yes absolutely. A few sips every once in awhile is not bad. There are health benefits in red wine. I also take sips of beer here and there too. Actually as soon as I delivered Athena my doc was all for me drinking beer cause the yeast is great for milk production ... obviously not more than a bottle every other day. My husband used to work at a dairy farm and they’d add beer to their food to help boost their milk production.

@juliam27, there’s nothing wrong with a few sips. Usually half a glass is what they pour you at the restaurant and you would half that because you’re pregnant so a quarter of a glass should be just right.

All my doctors always said not to do it.

I had a glass on New Year's and from my knowledge my baby is perfectly healthy.
