Can anyone help ? Basically me and my partner was privert renting with his sister and her partner, unfortunately they broke up so we had no choice but to leave the house because we could not afford the whole rent as I had to give up work to look after our child. So me my partner and our child are all at my mum's for now, i get no help at all no universal credit nothing because I live at my parents. Bearing in mind we pay half the rent plus our own food shopping and bills. They don't cear !! So I went for a job interview she offered me to be her deputy manager I was so shocked but I had to turn the job down because the childcare cost was £1350 😯 I mean come on !!! So I called universal credit up and said if I work full time will you help towards childcare because I herd from the workplace that that's what they do. But they said to me we do help but we can't help you because you live with parents and down as not paying rent so if you work full time you and your partner are able to offered it !!!!!!!!! Ermmm we can't we are skint every month because my partner pays for everything and I get nothing... is this right I'm lost I don't know what to do anymore 😔😔😔😔

Because you live with parents they will expect your parents to be able to look after your child xx

@sophie-mariie, they’re not bothered hun because your down as living with parents they expect that parents will babysit ect and you won’t need to pay for childcare. It’s stupid but it’s the way they work it 🤦🏼♀️xxx

@mamaofzuri We Are Saving At The Moment But Because I'm Not In Work We Can't Privert Rent. My mum works so she can't look after him she use to look after him when I worked part time but her hours went up so that's why I stopped x

Your probably better off getting your mum to chuck you out and go to the council for help

@mamaofzuri yeah I ask them if we can prove it they said it doesn't matter it's my parents choice to charge us rent it's a joke x

@baybiijord it's different everyday he starts at 5 and gets home at different times like sometimes 3 sometimes 5 or later
