I think any exposure to other children is good honestly. My 2yr old has no other kids around except when we go out but shes learning no matter what age how she should react to certain things. The same age group is good for communication skills though

@misscoco yeah true they can learn from any age but my oldest doesn't want to be around her younger sister she said she need time with other kids am I wrong if I expect her to let her sister tag along

Kids need socialization for all kinds of reasons. It’s only beneficial to them.

@cheshire_mom4 yes exactly how I feel but my children father's don't agree he thinks they should stay in the house with each other all day and feel they need to get out and explain Explore but I do make my daughters go places together

@avahcruz I agree because they need to know about the world they live in and sometimes the best teacher is life situation

@terresa.nash you're not wrong at all. She's gonna have her sister around for the rest of her childhood but she probably does want someone she has more in common with. Sometimes kids grow out of each other for a little bit until they catch up with each other

@misscoco true she does need her time alone and I give her that but I also feel she should have time with her sister so we can up with a plan that works for us both lol

@misscoco yes but I am also asking for friends because sometimes we forget that our children need to know that there is a world out there beyond our house hold and it's OK to let them explore and learn who they are with and without us but make sure they stick together through the good and the bad and that we are always here to lend a helping ✋
