With dark hair it might get brassy looking. I'd go to a professional.

I did it. Took like two- treatments to get it to the right shade. But it’s doable. I even did my eyebrows. Lol

My advice is listen to whoever you go to, as long as you like them, because if you rush the process it will make your hair look orange.

Getting it done professional. a good stylist will tell you going blonde is a Process that takes time and will only lighten your hair slowly over a few months. Don’t trust anyone who says they can make you blonde it right away. Plus it’s hella up keep. I went platinum blonde ended up having to cut my hair really short and I had a side shave because it damaged my hair so much. If you have the time to be in the salon every month in another thing to think about.

I went from dyed black hair trying to do it blonde and I had to bleach it like 4 times and I still couldn't get it as blonde as I wanted it and it completely destroyed my hair.

I'm dark hair and went to Wal-Mart brought a box of bleach it said black to blonde, Omg it turn Orange and blonde it was funny as he'll Lmfao you should definitely go to the hair salon I think you would look pretty! 💗

@mommyandwife10918, I also tried to do it myself when I was a teenager and it came it orange. I looked so bad. It was a huge mess lol I let my friend put “highlights” in using the cap thing. She was supposed to pull a strand through like every 2 holes but she pulled it through every hole 💀💀💀

@missheatherbaby, no. But my hair likes to cling to red, so anytime I dye it, it clings to that lol. So in between I had a bit of a strawberry blonde thing going on, not horrible though!
