So tomorrow we’re going to sign papers and drop off our deposit on the house. It’s going to be hard living off of just my boyfriends income. I was thinking of possibly taking in 3-4 kiddos Monday-Friday and doing $30 a day or $150 a week. I’d make my hours 7-5. It would give us the extra money we need so we don’t need to stress on bills or groceries. Does that rate sound like it would be good if you needed child care??

That sounds like a good rate to me.
Some daycares around where I live want $250-$300 a week, which is insanity. And why so many moms or dads stay home with the kids more and more.

I used to take care of 3 kids (4 with my son) for $25 a day for 2 and $30 for one, from 7-5 had good money but it got super stressing over time.

That’s really good! A daycare I was going to take my son too wanted to charge me $230 a week and I had to provide all his meals and snacks

@katwillbrand, I’m worried it’ll be a lot on me but we really need the second income. I guess we’ll have to see what happens!

@daylenerebecca, that’s crazy!! The woman that watched my son at her house charged me the same rate I’m thinking and she fed him through out the day. Daycare is so damn expensive
