I know it’s a touchy subject but now I’m slightly panicky. Sooo many people are telling me to wait till at least 4 months for baby’s first shots instead of 2 months because of risks for autism and other issues / illnesses / disabilities and that by 4 months, I’d better be able to tell if the shots caused it. This doesn’t sound right!!! Was anyone’s little ones ok after their shots? I probably sound ridiculous but it’s hard not to when people put thoughts into your head 😩😩. Most of us adults have gotten our shots and we’re fine?! Did they add MORE crap to these shots now? 😳

If im correct autism usually isn't even diagnosed until around 18months, and studies have shown that vaccines don't even cause autism (but anti vaxxers will swear beyond a doubt that they do) thats like me blaming my son's speech delay on his shots because I don't know who or what else to blame. Children are born with autism.

If you want to delay or omit certain ones, that's perfectly okay. Some pediatricians (like my sons) like to spread them out a little more.

You can always ask which ones your child will be getting and discuss them with the pediatrician first.

@leroydoom, you can sometimes yeah but they won't diagnose that early because it could just be that the child is temporarily behind and catch him within a few months in some cases they don't get diagnosed until early teens because ODD is a very similar disability

Thanks for your responses, ladies. I feel better about that. I’d love my child no matter what but of course as parents we want to protect them as much as possible !
