That’s great that you have a for sure date to meet your baby! Why are you having a c-section if you don’t mind me asking?

@angelicatorres66 I didn't with my daughter either and was low on amniotic fluid and had to have a emergency C-section with her, so I'm having a repeat C-section with our son. I'll be meeting him on the 27th, my daughter turns 3 on the 18th, and I'll be 25 on the 22nd! Honestly C-sections are scary, but the procedure itself isn't that bad, its the healing process that's rough. But they should give you narcos and they work wonders. I recommend requesting to be glued shut, instead of stapled or stitched... It makes healing a bit easier!

Also you can only have one person in there with you.

@shannonmallory93 how did you do it with your daugther was it hard on you ?

@angelicatorres66 nah the meds help, i'm more worried about having a toddler this go round on top of it, and you can ask for it when you go into surgery, or right before... Idk if your doc would be willing to do that, but it's worth a try. My doc did that with our daughter without my knowledge, and I'm glad she did, so I asked her too do it again, and she said to just remind her when we go to do the C-section.

I also had my last appt the other day, and I am so ready Duuuuuuude....

@shannonmallory93 how long are you going to be when they will ne doing your c section .

@angelicatorres66 the C-section takes about an hour, and you'll be in the hospital 2-4 days, depending on how you're doing and feeling.

@shannonmallory93 well my husband is going to be there, but thinking about it makes me so scared .

@angelicatorres66 don't be, you'll be okay, and having the love of your life there holding your hand, and supporting you through it, and comforting you, definitely helps the nerves. The worst thing I felt was a few minutes of nausea at the end when they put everything back in its place. I swear you'll be fine, and even the pain after wasn't what I thought it would be, I mean yes it was painful if the meds wore off, but not like I thought it would be. Just remember to breathe, and try to relax as much as possible!
