I wish they would check my cervix! I feel like something is going on down there. Either I’m effaced…

Same!! She refuses till 39 weeks. When i was at the hospital on Monday they checked me & i am dilated so I’m hoping i can convince her to check me today but i doubt its gonna happen

@walkers-mom, it’s frustrating I mean I get they don’t wanna introduce infection but I wanna know if I’m progressing or not. Hardly anyone in my family has given natural birth and I want to see if I’m already starting or not. Also I will take my maternity leave earlier if I am dilating

@bebefever94, yeah, I’m not really sure why my dr doesn’t check yet! And i know cause your having pain but you don’t know anything lol! Like you can have inconsistent contractions & that’s just your body dilating.. i knew nothing with my first but i had him 2 days before i was 37 weeks . And i was on those progesterone shots so i too would like to see if I’m going to progress on my own! And considering i didn’t feel the contractions i was having on the monitor on Monday night 😅

@walkers-mom @bebefever94 what city yall stay in? my doc was checking the hell outa me!! wen yall go in....jus complain about how horrible the pressure is and the hicks/contractions...maybe that will make them check lol

I told her I basically felt like she was gonna fall out which is true but she’s like I don’t see any reason to check you and they have read contractions when I was in the hospital at 34 weeks! They just want me to drop this baby wherever I guess 😂 I suppose that’s Illinois for u

@johnsonarriel24, I’m hoping since I was already checked & i was 3 cm & 50% effaced shell check but I’m gonna say that I’ve been having contractions but there’s no guarantee that she’ll check me 🙄

My midwife told me unless you're having consistent contractions that it's pointless to check. I'm pretty sure it put me in labor the second time too 🤔. With my 1st they started checking at 36 weeks because I was at risk for early birth 🙄
