I had to once I started pushing. The outer monitor couldn’t find his heartbeat.

That happened with my oldest! They lost his heart beat on the monitor as I was pushing tried 2 more monitors and still nothing so they turned to the internal monitor and picked his heartbeat up

@mimimommyof2 I try! I think its the whole labor and delivary that is freaking me out!

@crazysmc25, I had it because my sons heart rate kept drastically dropping and with every contraction they couldn’t find a heart beat so they put one inside on his head and it made things worse, so I had an emergency c section.

@crazysmc25, lol it doesn’t hurt them at all don’t go crazy worrying about everything you hear o swear doctors get paid to scare you

@mimimommyof2 I am taking a birthing class and we went over the different moniters and they showed this one where it attaches itself to the baby's head... In my head I am screaming hell no!!!

I did they put a monitor inside to monitor the babies heartbeat it makes like a ticking sound and lets them know how the baby is doing through the process didn’t feel anything since I had the epidural
