So hard to know what to do with him when hes awake for 3-4 hours. Like i try walk around and talk/sing to him but he doesn't seem interested in my voice he always makes faces when my parents talk but not me. I show him pictures and toys and try take him out places but its so hard to keep him entertained for hours at this age. Too young to play with toys, i try some early tummy time but he usually just cries. And its nearly impossible to walk and hold him for three hours straight without breaking arms

He's only a month old. Develop a routine like a walk and reading time but don't put too much pressure on yourself. U are doing great. Baby is still getting use to light and noise and is extremely tired. As he gets older you will be able to do more things with him. Babies don't usually like tummy time so do not feel bad. It's ok for him to lay around so don't feel pressure to hold him for 3hrs.

Ok..i think u are putting a lot of pressure on yourself. When he's a bit older and heavier you may regret holding him all the time.

Have you tried a swing? My baby loves his swing and when he naps through the day that's where he goes. Might save you from having to hold him the entire time. Comfort him and then place in the swing

@ib.crazyskittles18, have you seen your doctor yet the baby shouldn't be crying when you put him down try patting his back it sounds like he might have spare burps in there

It also takes time for them to hold there head up etc my baby is pretty much the same age and isn't there yet either but that's normal I think you should talk to someone . not saying it in a negative way coming from some one who went through PPD after I had my 2nd, sometimes the strongest people are the ones who seek help when they need it
