Has anyone ever had a chinchilla? What are they like and will they be ok around my 15 month old? And can I just have the one cos obviously they are dear as I can imagine xD. How much would you say they are in pets at home sorry random question!

I have been told chinchillas are very difficult to look after. I do believe pets at home will only sell them in pairs.
Wow shit really well I'll have to look into getting a rabbit but we only live in a flat so can't put it outside or anything D: thats Abit too much to be fair for chinchilla especially if you need two xD how much would you say everything is for a rabbit like hutch etc? Xx
They can bite just like an other pet :) my friend had some :) they do better in pairs as they are sociable.. usually they have a pair deal going on :) Hmm i worked in a pet shop and they were £80-120...but not sure about Pets at Home.
Id get a rabbit instead or Guinea pig :) xx
