At what temp should I take my child into the ER ?

I do at 102-103 if the fever won’t break with Motrin, but the doctors say not until 104

I've always been told to take them if their fever is higher than 100.

How old is the child? Cool bath and just a diaper..or light t shirt on..dressing them in layers keeps the fever and just so u know all fevers get higher in the night when the body is at rest..cool towel on feet&neck...to me anything over 102.5 o would take in and if younger than 1 yr

@sherrynygirl, she’ll be 2 next month I’ve had her with no clothes all day just because of the vomiting she just started getting pretty warm about an hour ago

@mimimommyof2 You should definitely take her if the fever doesn't go down or if she keeps throwing up. Happened to my 3 year old. She was really weak to the point where she couldn't walk straight.and didn't want to eat anything.. Even when I gave her medicine, the fever didn't go down.

Depending on the age. My doctor says after a year anything over 103.

@jessica0830, took her in see did end up getting a higher fever but it’s the bug and she’s definitely ok today 🤣

@mimimommyof2, Zayd had a bad stomach bug too about 2 weeks ago! His little ass was throwing up all over the damn place! Glad she’s ok! Tell her to get it together lol
