So my son just turned 2 on February 26th, and I'm wondering if he should be talking by now. I mean…

My son was a late talker he had his own way of communicating but i had early integration come and it helped so much

@denisse.m What exactly do they do?

@brossymommaoftwo, they teach them how to talk, like saying the words in syllables, my son had a teacher who started out with sign language and it worked. They have their own ways of teaching the kids at first you think it isn’t going to work but next hint you know your child is talking and saying sentences my son had it for a year and a half.

@denisse.m I was referred to them, the called.. I just never called back. I've been unsure of what to do. But I guess ill be making a call. Thank you

@brossymommaoftwo, that’s how i felt also, i thought my son didn’t need it and my mother talked to me explained to me what it is and i gave it a try and I’m glad i did because if not my son would had taken forever to talk, he started talking around 2.5 years old

@denisse.m I'm just hoping there isn't anything major wrong ya know? He's great with communication, and smart. In my eyes anyway. But this is what's best for my son.

Girl I went through the same thing with my son he's now 3 just turned three on the 25th of February! He talks so much now some things I still can't understand but I can definitely tell he's learned to talk more fluent and to talk more! He was about 2 1/2 when he started. His pediatrician said it happens and wasn't worried about it! Some kids just move on their own time it doesn't mean they're slow or they're behind, they're just doing it on their time!

@denisse.m, my son started speech therapy today he will be 3 in July I’m hoping that it helps him

He talks but she is helping him say his words clearer we understand most of the things he say but I wanted to help him early as much as I can she said he is very intelligent kids have their own pace of doing things

My daughter is 2 and she still speaks a little gibberish but is very very smart for her age I noticed since I became pregnant again she now says alot more words and sentences kids move at there own pace doesn't make them any less smart @brossymommaoftwo

@brossymommaoftwo, I understand, that was my thinking also but give it a few months and you will start to see the difference.

@tyshai, it’s a big help, i thought it wasn’t going to be and honestly it was the best thing i did for my son. Once he started talking he wouldn’t stop lol
