This Tuesday feels like a Monday. I don’t always wake up with a pep in my step. When lack of sleep happens things tend to become chaotic. Such as sleeping through my alarm, scarlett screaming most of the morning and having a sore throat upon waking. However, things even out sometimes aiden’s bus was late so I was able to make his lunch and get everyone ready for the morning. At this moment I’m just glad the littles are being content and playing so I can enjoy my coffee without feeling like I want to rip some hair out. I’m hoping after today’s trip to the zoo aka cardio flow I’ll be in a much better place. Feeling sick, lack of sleep can really change a person 🤣 On another topic I want to touch on something that I don’t mention all too much. Recently a lot of us doing 80 day obsession finished phase 2 of the program. This is a huge accomplishment in itself to stick to a program like this with full commitment. A lot of transformation photos have been shared of those who are having amazing results from the program thus far. Congratulations to those who are seeing huge changes. Also to those who are loving the way their body feels or has been changing. I personally had a moment yesterday of the dreaded self-doubt. It creeps up every once in a while in times where I feel most vulnerable. I took pictures to mark the end of phase 2, but comparing my pictures from phase 1 & 2 my eyes saw no change at all. I’ll admit it kind of crushed me to think all of my hard work wasn’t having the same affect as so many others. At that moment I had to tell myself to stop those thoughts. I was comparing myself and my journey to other people’s transformations. I have to remind myself daily that my journey is my own and can’t be compared to anyone else’s. As a coach it is easy to support, encourage and praise those you help in their progress and efforts. But I have all too often forgotten to give myself credit for where I am in my own journey and how far I’ve come since I first started. #emotionaljourney #selfdoubtisreal #weightlossstruggle #mommyneedscoffee #emotionalselfcare #dontcompareyourself #lovewhoyouare #destinationselflove
