My boyfriend thinks it’s too early to start buying little things for the baby each paycheck (8 weeks pregnant), but I say it’s never too early to start preparing for my child. Thoughts?
We got our carseat at 10 weeks. And got onesies and socks and stuff as soon as we found out. It's never too early! Get it while you can because you might forget later lol
Get it while you can and just find out a return policy god forbid anything goes wrong. But I was buying stuff at 12 weeks
We waited till after we got out of the first trimester this time since we had a miscarriage before. But then if we found a good deal we bought them. Like some bottles and simple stuff like that.
I bought a pack of wipes each time I went to the store for my first trimester. A pack of diapers the second trimester. & An article of clothing the third trimester. Almost 5 months in and I haven't had to buy any diapers or wipes.

@kiaraherbert24, Yes I’m currently 2 months pregnant and just want to be prepared I’m a first time mom I don’t want to be underprepared 😩 and I’m not going to rely on a baby shower to give me what I need for my child
@kiaraherbert24, Thank you girl, you made me feel better about it. A lot of other people are like just wait until the end of your first trimester because the risk of a miscarriage goes down, but I believe if you think bad things bad things will happen, my baby will be just fine 💕

@khawkins that's awesome. I'm glad someone thinks that way!!! Walmart is a really good place to check for stuff clearance or on rollback. I got my car seat there for $199
@beerus, I feel like that’s how my man will be! Like once he sees a belly then he’ll start to try and buy things last minute. Lol

@kittykatsmeow, I was thinking of buying a travel system that includes both car seat and stroller. Just to save money! Did you end up buying a stroller separately?

Nice I love that! But that is definitely expensive. I was thinking of doing this. It’s $300 all together but once my baby is no longer an infant I’m not sure if I could use her car seat but I know I’d be able to use the stroller.so I’d probably have to end up buying a new car seat anyway as baby grows
@mrsgreen0824, That’s exactly what I planned to do, but he’s shooting down my ideas saying it’s too early. Regardless I’m going to either save a portion of my checks or start buying things here and there.

I did buy one seperately but that's because I bought the 4 in 1 car seat that grows with the baby. Or else I would have done a combo set
