Well no change guys and apparently what I’m feeling is just “discharge” didn’t know it could come…

The same thing happened to me today! I was for sure I was leaking fluid because it met all the descriptions I had to go by, I even did the panty liner test and my doctor tells me it’s just discharge from a possible infection but all tests came back negative. I thought I knew for sure, but like you said whatever! 😪

That's what they told me when my water bag broke...they did the strip test and it came back negative so they're like "nope, just discharge " I was like "nope...try again!" Lol

@babymomma2018, yeah apparently all the fluid that I’ve lost is discharge . Ok!!!! I was having contractions on the monitor so hopefully they’ll progress & he’ll be here soon

@walkers-mom they're prolly gunna tell you u have a uti and that's why he having contractions 😑 they literally told me that after they told me I was 4 cm dilated...im just like...if ur dilating with the contractions that's not from a freaking uti and if Idk that I had a uti there's no way it can be bad enough to make me contract, let alone make my baby come 6 weeks early!"

They did the test on me as well with the piece of paper and told me my water wasn’t broken AS IT WAS COMING OUT ONTO THE BED IN FRONT OF THEM

You would definitely know if you had a uti. I had one for so long and it sucked so bad! I'm sorry but the doctors you have must be slow as hell.. Idk why more doctors now a days try to ignore the fact that a woman is having contractions and in labor... is it because the timing is inconvenient for them or something?

Why don’t they just do a FFN test?? My new OB is just as doofy, I went to L&D at 28 weeks bc I had bright red bleeding and they couldn’t tell why... I wish I had my last OB but they’re in another state...

@walkers-mom, I went into preterm at 28 weeks with my last pregnancy and they gave me steroids and meds that stopped it, I dilated 1 cm then it happened again at 32 weeks and I thought my fluid was leaking, i was dilated to 2-3 cm, so they did a swab that picks up any fluid from around the sac if it’s leaking, i think they called it fibronectin protien? I guess when you’re about to go into labor and the lining of the sac starts to or detaches from your uterine lining it releases that protein and it comes out in your fluid/discharge. If the test is positive then labor is likely soon, but could take weeks. A negative is a more solid result. Mine was positive at 32 weeks so they put me on bed rest and stress tests twice a weeks and I delivered at 38 weeks. They checked me at I was around 5 cm, gave me the option to sweep my membranes or wait it out and I had them sweep me to get it over with and he was born 7 hours later.

@truebluemama_, yeah they used a little piece of paper to test my fluid but nothing came back i guess so guess it was just the discharge from my bacterial thing i have. Maybe they didn’t test for pre term labor cause I’m 37 weeks and that’s what they consider full term

@truebluemama_, my labor was really fast with my son so I’m praying when he’s ready that it’ll go quick! I never got checked with my first because my dr doesn’t check till 39 weeks.. if i didn’t go to the hospital last night i wouldn’t even know if I’m dilated or effaced

@walkers-mom, that sucks. maybe? But wouldn’t it be the same protein no matter when it’s happening? If it was negative I’d trust it, but you know your body best!
