I started at one. Now I put him in time out because for some reason it gives him time to think about what he did and he comes out acting better. I still pop when needed😃
That’s a great question. I can’t answer but I will say at birth children learn what works and what doesn’t. I would say the sooner the better. It’s case by case or parent preference as each parent is different. No I’m not saying start popping children at birth I’m just saying they learn fast so at whatever age you see it’s time then you do that if you want to use that method.
@sheletamgeorge yeah you're rt about that. I'm at the end of my rope because I have morning, noon, and night sickness. Chasing him and catch shit before he break or hurt himself is wearing me out.
@1mothergoose, i understand. Things will get better or worse it’s really up to you how you handle it. No guide comes with raising children what we do know is we don’t get a do over unless we have another one. I’m sure you will make he best choices in raising your child but if we’re mines i might have to pop a thigh!
@sheletamgeorge lol he is my second child my oldest just made 20...lol so I'm starting all over. With his brother i could just look at him and he would behave, not this one lol he flash them teeth and think thats the answer to not getting in trouble. He cute bute not to cute i wont pop them hands when he into something dangerous.
Not that far apart with my children but I feel like I’m starting all over 2. Oldest is 10 middle is 7. Maybe I want have the same issues with last one as I had with the first 2. I learned to late to not listen to everyone else tell me what to do and how to do! Like GRANDMA. my boys could do no wrong but when I was coming up same behavior got me more than another chance!
Yeah they start understanding early. Everybody swear my 6 month old doesn't know what he is doing when he slaps me lol. I tell him to keep up and he will see😄

I do and she is 19 months. I started at about 14 months when she was walking and trying to pull on electrical cords to lamps and the tv.
