Towards the end of your pregnancy they can do a membrane sweep to help induce labor, I’ve heard bad things about them though

The doctor puts her fingers up into your cervix and scrabes the membranes with her fingers. It's kinda painful

But can cause infection. Most people bleed a little after wards

My doctor never tired that I got induced

@mariarose114, it would be before an actual induction, it’s supposed to be a natural induction method versus using pitocin

Yeah that doesn’t sound like something I wanna try
