So continuing from my earlier post I was having contractions for about 7 hrs every 3-5 minutes for 35-45 seconds I’m 35 weeks 6 days so they gave me a shot to stop the contractions didn’t work twice so then they started preparing me to go into labor they gave me a shot of steroids to help my baby since he would be early and needed a steroid shot for his lungs I guess ..... then when I went back in to get the other steroid shot my contractions stopped but I am 80% effaced and 1 cm dilated the only thing they warned me is that after the contraction drugs wear off in about 48 hours so I could start up again with the contractions and dilating more so it’s like he might be here in a couple days he might not be so stressed right now 😬
