Good morning ladies! My son (who is 12) does so awesome in school and is always on the honor roll, great grades and everything but ALL he worries about is that damn game!!!! It drives me crazy because he will forget something I just told him to play the game, doesn’t recall stuff I tell him/pay attention, lazy as hell, hurry to eat his dinner, etc.... I really don’t wanna take it away for good but something’s gotta give!!! Any advice ladies????????? I’m losing all hope!!!!!

Give him a time limit. Growing up we were allowed an hour or two of screen time after we did our homework. We got to pick that hour and once it was up, that was it until the next day.

Im having the same issue with my son and he’s only 7, he does awesome in school also gets the best grades you can possibly get but when it comes to him listening when i tell him to do something it goes in one ear out another. Right now I’m only letting him play on weekends and during weekdays he has to read and do math and do his chores I’m trying to get his focus out from games all the time
