Momma's I have a medical questions for the nurse Momma's. On my left side under my ribs I have a sharp pain and a lot of pressure. It comes and goes. Sometimes it is not that that but other times it will bring me to tears. What could it be. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow just need to know if I should go to the ER and don't really want to go if it is gas

It very much could be gas, I studied at an undergrad nursing high school program and that was one of our main issues with pregnant women, was had pains under ribs. I would still go get it checked out just in case it’s not, no one knows better than your dr! ❤️

@kelseychapman13, me too! I had to go in for an emergency visit Saturday morning at 7 AM (I had a church overnighter that night and we went straight to the hospital from there) because I was having brown bleeding and this intense pressure like below my gut but more around my upper vag than actual pelvic pressure, so they did an emergency ultrasound and vaginal ultrasound and everything. They couldn’t find my cervix and I was FREAKING OUT. Its so scary

@hking18, yeah almost 2 years ago (mothers day) I had to get my gallbladder taken out because for almost 6 months I was in so much pain I couldn't stand it and all they kept tell me is it was gas and I knew it wasn't because I know my own body and when I finally went back I got a new doctor and he was so surprised my gallbladder hadn't erupted because it was so bad. And now I am so scared because I don't want to have to have surgery again because it was the scariest day of my life.

@hking18, I was so scared because hubby don't do needles so when the have me the Anastasia he left so I was there by myself and when I woke up I was so mean to my nurse because I was scared and was screaming for my husband. I felt so bad when hubby told me about it. I was in bed for 3-4 days drugged up on pain meds and I was so hard because my daughter was only 4 months old
