@kristenmarie I forget about tampons too 😣😣😣 and I tried switching back to pads but I stand up all day and they rub and give me a rash on my coochie and bends of my legs. So I'm really hopeful this works. And I'll probably get size 2. Ever since I had my son my periods have been awful
@lghnnsmnr231, haha no problem!! I think it’s a great alternative to tampons! I’m so scared of getting TSS because I always forget to change them out. And the diva cup is reusable so that’s another plus! If you have heavier periods, I definitely recommend getting the size 2 one or whatever it’s called.
@lghnnsmnr231, you’ve definitely got to make sure you wash your hands after, I’ve made the fatal mistake and accidentally spilled it on my bathroom floor. But when it’s in it makes a seal basically with the lining of the cup, so blood doesn’t get all over the cup, it just goes into it. So unless you spill it then you don’t really get a lot of blood everywhere
@kristenmarie thank you for your input. I will try it for sure. And not to sound gross but when you take it out does blood get everywhere? That and it getting lost are my biggest fears lol
@mama_of_one, I have one! I bought it a few months before I got pregnant, and it’s great! You don’t leak at all (if you put it in correctly), you can leave it in for I believe 10-12 hours, you don’t feel it at all. But you just need to be very comfortable with being able to explore your area, because the first few times you put it in you’ll feel worried and fish it out. I thought I lost it in me and was freaking out, I just bared down and was able to get it out no problem.
@mama_of_one I will. Lol. I have been curious for like 6 months but don't know anyone who has used it. Iol. I'll let you know for sure if j decide to try it .
