I’ve pumped sooo much milk in one week I’m running out of room to store it. Any ideas mommies on what I should do to store babies milk?
@ceceandgianny216, I just pump every 2-3 hours at first just for 15 minutes now I pump until I feel empty. And I drink a whole water bottle (the 16oz plastic bottle) while I pump and I stay hydrated and I try to eat right, protein is mandatory, and it helps to have a great electric ⚡️ pump. I use the medela freestyle
@mommyfirst7, don’t fill the bags all the way to the top it will help I only fill mine up to 6oz it helps when freezing them laying down it’s flatter
There so full it’s hard for them to lay flat so should I pour less into each one? Because the storage bags I have are 5 and 6 oz and I feel them to the top because I pump like 8 oz out of both sides so 16oz in total. I tried the flat way first but my hubby said that he could fit more standing. 🤷🏽♀️
Get a deep freezer just 4 your milk. Lol! Definitely lay them down and put them in your drawers. My sis did get a freezer jus 4 her milk though.
If you're freezing them lay them down flat so that they freeze flatter. And put them in a soda containers to store or freeze lock bags
lol I try to pump every 2-3 sometimes 4 hours when I’m out but she’s only eating 3 oz right now and I pump 16oz each time so I have a lot stored 🤦🏽♀️
@mommyfirst7 lay the milk bags flat when frozen put them in there
