Maybe you should switch bottles. I had this problem with my baby that after an ounce, we’d have to keep burping her or else she’d be in pain. But then we switched to Playtex Ventaire, and that helped SO much. She’s not as gassy as she was before. But in the meantime, after half an ounce, you should stop and burp him and then continue feeding him

But its not something to take them into the ER. I know hospitals sometimes have a number you can call and they’ll help you out without having to take him in
