QUESTION LADIES: I have a liver infection that will cause me to not be able to breast feed after labor. So sad... I know. Really wished that i could. Anyways, I heard that pumping/breast feeding really helps with weight loss after labor... True or False? Plus, if it is true can I still do it even if i cant breast feed... just for the weight management purposes?

Yes that is true , but it also drains you as well... I lost a lot of weight with breastfeeding

@bbyzvcy18, you only produce what ur baby eats , so since your not breastfeeding your supply may not be as much
