$10-$12 per hour.

When I baby-sit I just charged a solid $20 for the day whether it be 4 hours or 8 hours. It might seem expensive for only 4 hours but you're not going to find that in any daycare.

@momofboth I only ever asked for $20 $25 a day. Daycares are extremely expensive and I know because I struggle to find one based on how much they cost.

In emergency cases I try to pay $10 an hour if I can. Otherwise if it’s preplanned I’d ask her what she’d expect and negotiate from there.
