My grandma finessed me , I wanted to be all natural but when we got to the hospital to have my son as soon as she had the nurses attention she started screaming pain med and epidurals and had the nurse on her side scared the shit out of me I got the epi it didn't work fully still felt half the pain and couldn't walk to help progress delivery so this time around I may do the epi but I'm going to wait until the very last minute hopefully my labor will go alot quicker without it

I did it 4 out of 5 times and will do it again this time, I did not however do it completely natural I did have IV pain meds but I do not like the epidural, the one time I did it I did not like the man doing it he was yelling at me for crying and after it was done I had to pee but the nurse told me pee on myself which I refused that caused me problems later on because I went totally numb right after that and could no longer feel that I had to pee I went 8 hours with my bladder so full that my daughter got trapped behind it she started to go into distress so they where goin to do an emergency c section they inserted a catheter before surgery but as soon as my bladder drained my daughter literally was flying out the nurse had to deliver her there was no time to even call the doctor. So basically I could have lost my daughter because of an epidural and a horrible nurse. You can do it but IV pain meds I do recommend cause it takes the edge off for a while and you can sleep a bit through it until your closer to the end .
