Hubby has been gone all week for work, he wasn’t able to come home tonight because the job he’s on had to be done this week. He will be home sometime tomorrow so that leaves him only home for one night with his family before going back out of town and that leaves me watching our boys(Duke) playing in tournament tonight😞 it’s the little things I look forward to doing with him and he can’t be here but I know he’s doing it for our family. I think we need a weekend away hell maybe a week away.

I know how you feel dear. My SO has to go out of town for work from time to time and I only have 1 kiddo to look after.

@mommiesaremagical14, he’s been going out of town for a while now only home on the weekends so my boys look forward to those two days with him. So only having home one night is upsetting for the boys. I’m used to it by now but sometimes is harder then others.

@kott0717 I understand, my SO isn't gone as much as he used to be. When he first got the job he was gone for 2.5 months only home on the weekends. At the time our DD was just a naby.

That happened with our second child he was just a few days old and his boss made him go out of town. He’s been out of town most of his life and he’s 3 years old now. My husband hates it because he doesn’t have the relationship he wants with him because he only got to see him a couple days a week which was the weekend and he missed out on all of his “first” he didn’t want that with our newborn but it seems to be happening again. But at least with this delivery he was able to stay home for two weeks and then work a week on half days. So he had a little bonding time. It still sucks for my boys. But they know and will know that Daddy is doing this for them so they can have the life we didn’t have growing up and they will know that their daddy is a hard worker.
