That’s how toddlers are. Spanking your child only builds resentment. You can try time outs in her room or removing a favorite snack for grouchy behavior. But reality is.... this is absolutely normal. They can’t communicate fully and therefore act out the only way they know. As a parent it’s your job to be patient and kind

I completely agree with @vvrobinson.
A child needs us to guide them into the right path, and that is communication. With communication you can teach your child right from wrong but with spanking they can't understand with a harsh hand. Children are suppose to act out, they don't know any better. They love to test boundaries, it's the way they learn. Everything is new to them. They communicate through body language before they can speak. Just have patience, you and your child are learning together.
