@sjbeanie Haha...with you on the breast feeding... 2 years 1 month of it... im pissed off with it. She just wont give it up. She wouldnt take bottles and still wont take expressed milk. She likes it straight from the tap. Next baby im deffo combo feeding/expressing....x

@sjbeanie i think its both as in breast and formular.. I think 🤔 my friend does both as she dosent produce enough breast milk her boy is a very hungry boy haha. But I guess it's what works for you. It is really nice going into spare room tho knowing it's your night off (I did feel guilty but I don't now haha) x

@sjbeanie, combination means breastfeed + formula. I never expressed actually, my baby loves boobies so I prefer giving it directly to him. Might express later when I get busy with work though. x

@nam05 @cassieunsworth4 is combination boob and bottle!? Because I have just started expressing so she has one bottle a day that my other half gives her when I need an hour or so break, I express using the Hakka so it isn't any work, when I was expressing with the hand pump that was too much :/ it's so hard because it's amazing having your baby but then it's crazy how exhausting it is xx

I agree with @nam05 if you do both then you get a rest & share the bond & load. I'm bottle feeding & im with him all day as my husband's at work but we alternate the evenings so we both get a full night sleep. It's obviously what works for you but might give your boobs & brain a night off xx

Hey girl are you attempting to breastfeed exclusively for a long time? It can be difficult. I did exclusive for first 4 weeks and almost went into depression, and physical pain. Then started combination feeding and life is awesome now. He gets the best of both worlds and I get a ‘life’. You can try if you wish, it’s entirely upto the mum & the baby too xx

@sjbeanie are you on a cluster feed week? cause my god i am, literally feel like all she's doing is feeding pooping and then feeding again then sleeping 😂 so me and my breasts are totally there in solidarity with you 👌

@kayteamay so worth it just hard and feel alone at the moment my other half helps in a lot of ways but then doesn't in others and I feel like he doesn't really understand x

Im 6 years in and tackling 3 little monsters. Everyday has its challenges and im constantly learning. We are tired, we are tested and we are drained. Its hard but it is worth it.

it's an emotional rollercoaster, trust me im nearly 4years in and still learning and adjusting.

Going from having no baby to a baby is a big shocker to the system and I still find myself hiding in the loo just for 5mins peace and no one touching me 👌😂

But I bet your doing great, don't doubt yourself and follow your instincts!
