Thinking about quitting my 9-5 to work part time as a server and spend all day with kids. I would be saving 800$ my son and daughter have been sick for 2 months. I thinks it’s due to the changing weather and all the kids at daycare being sick. My son struggles every morning to wake up (he’s only two) and my daughter still has bad bronchiolitis that she can’t seem to shake off. I see them maybe 2-3 hours a day Monday-Friday. Today the day care called me to pick up my son because he had diarrhea 3 times and a slight fever. I had no one to pick him up and since I’m still on probation at work I couldn’t leave. Today it got me thinking about the type of mother I want to be. I rather be tired as hell and spend more time with my kids than be the mother that’s known for always working. They are only small once in a lifetime and career opportunities will always arrive in due time. What are your thoughts moms?
